Mr. Teh Tarik Eating House is one of places to explore foods in Singapore. It open 24 hours. I often go to this place because it has halal certified. And it sells different kind of foods, such as korean and japanese food, nasi padang food, sea food, indian food,western food, chinese food and also beverages. Actually Teh Tarik is a name of drink that famous and familiar in Singapore and Malaysia, it combined tea and milk.
Mr. Teh Tarik has quite a lot branches around Singapore and every place has the taste differently. For example in one place the western food is so delicious but in other place maybe not really delicious. I ever ate western food, beef steak at Mr. teh Tarik in Bedok. Its so delicious, the meat so tender. But when i tried to eat western food at Mr. Teh Tarik in Tampines, the beef steak is not delicious. I saw the meat didn't grill but maybe just boiled with water and after that put some sauce on it. But if we are talking about healthy, maybe boiled meat is healthier than grilled meat. But for my tongue, grilled meat certainly better than just boiled meat.

My reason why i often eat at Mr. Teh Tarik is because it sells Korean food and Japanese food with reasonable price. For Korean food, there are bibimbap, hotplate chicken or beef and also kimchi. But i often order one set of hot plate chicken or beef taht combine with saba fish. It has complete menu, one bowl rice, hot plate chicken or beef and fried saba fish, a bowl of seaweed soup and little bit kimchi. It costs $6.

If you want to try Indian food menu, there are a lot menu you can choose, like nasi briyani, rojak india, fried noodle or kwetiaw or mee hoon. It also has roti prata, thosai, mutton soup, murtabak and also roti jhon. I often order nasi briyani or briyani rice and fried noodle here. But must be remembered that in every place the taste not same.

You can also try malay food, such as nasi padang, Mie Rebus, Mie Siam, Mie Soto and nasi lemak. Or you can try Hainan chicken rice, tomyam, porridge rice with chicken or fish, mie laksa, fish ball soup, etc.
For beverages i like to order teh tarik or lime tea in cold or hot. But my favorite is ice kacang. Ice kacang is one of familiar and famous food in Singapore. It combined ice with red bean , jelly and put colorful sugar on it. They will make special beverages like ice cream combine with ice kacang. So amny beverages they sell here. There are ice bandung, ginger tea, teh tarik with ginger, kind of juice, coffee, milo, etc.
